I'm a Canadian and I need to travel to the UK, France and the US. The US is the only destination I need to buy costly travel insurance for. Why? Because there's no public health care system, like in my own country. I pay higher income taxes for my Canadian Universal Health Care system and there are irritants here and there but overall, when I get out of the hospital, here, I never get into debt. Michael Moore makes a valid point when he says Canada, the UK, France, Cuba and many other civilized countries have placed the "we" before the "I". The more you travel to other countries, dear Chaim, the better you'll be able to appreciate how our "public" health systems actually keep people... healthy. Respectfully Yours.
