I can see other people's point of view, I don't have an easily bruised ego and I don't need to use gutter language to make a point when language itself is so powerful a tool to express a wide variety of views and opinions. Having said all that, and with profound apology to anyone more easily offended: this is the most fucked up thing I've heard in ages. This is something I would make that man pay for, in a definitive way. I always try to comment, if I comment, in a respectful, on-topic way so that I may contribute positively to the debate. Fully aware of what is going to happen 2.) Fully aware of the possible consequences and 3.) Can opt out at any time. This student had none of that. In fact, there was far less painful, and effective ways to get the point across on classical conditioning. Hell, Pavlov's original experiment itself was far more humane! In fact, I see no redeeming quality in this. I see no redeeming quality in the professor. Let him be offered candy and tasered till he goes fetal in the corner. It'll likely be more beneficial to society as a whole and work far more quickly to "rehabilitate" what is obviously a sick mind. But then, what do I know.
